Vancouver — December 05, 2008 — Intelligent Forms Design Inc (“iF”), a leader in sustainable home product designs, introduces a new class of laptop accessory – The Laptop Pillow.  Designed to address the problems of laptop overheating and provide a better alternative to hard edged laptop desks and laptop stands, iF Laptop Pillows provide at-home laptop users with a portable, heat-shielded cushion for increased comfort and stability - pioneering a new laptop accessory product class in the process.

Laptop Pillows by iF represent a novel evolution in design beyond outdated style.  Conventional laptop accessories created to assist with laptop ventilation and laptop support often are hard edged, plastic and sterile.  They fail to address the needs of the user in terms of comfort and style.  The Laptop Pillow by iF softens the hard edge of technology while ventilating laptops and providing enhanced ergonomic laptop support.  Unlike most existing laptop accessories, each designer pillow is constructed using organic materials and sustainable methods.

“We’re interested in mediating between technology and the user,” says Founding Partner Innes Yates, “cooling fans and hard materials offer a technological solution to the problem of laptop overheating but we wanted to provide a solution founded in style and design that offers comfort in a sustainable way.”
